Unit of Measurement for Blood Sugar

The blood glucose level is the amount of glucose present in the blood.

Blood glucose is measured is in mmol/L (millimoles per liter) or in mg/dL (milligrams per deciliter). The different units are country based. A little like countries choosing to use Fahrenheit or Celsius to measure temperature.

The blood sugar is measured in exactly the same way however is displayed and referred to according to the local countries preference.
